The public participation process surrounding the proposed Galleria delle Arti e della Musica (G.A.M.), promoted by the Municipality of Lecce, continues with a new opportunity for dialogue and engagement with the local community.
On Tuesday 17 March, at 4.30 p.m., a public meeting will take place in the meeting room of the Ex Convento dei Teatini (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 16), offering residents and stakeholders a further opportunity to discuss and contribute to the development of the project.
The meeting builds on the inaugural public presentation held on 26 February, during which the project's vision, objectives and guiding principles were introduced. The proposed Galleria delle Arti e della Musica aims to revitalise and repurpose the former "G. Saraceno" nursery school, located within the historic Complesso dei Teatini, transforming it into a vibrant centre for artistic production, music, education and cultural activities.
This second meeting will provide an open forum for residents, cultural practitioners, associations and local organisations to share observations, ideas and suggestions, helping to shape the project as it moves forward.
The initiative forms part of the Municipality's wider programme of public participation, designed to develop, together with the local community, an open and inclusive cultural space capable of strengthening Lecce's role as a centre for artistic creation, cultural production and creative exchange.
Participation is free and open to all.
As seating capacity is limited, participants are kindly requested to register in advance by completing the following online form:
