"Transparency" is seen as total accessibility of information regarding the organization and activities of public authorities, in order to encourage widespread forms of control on the pursuit of official duties and the use of public resources.
The Association called "Agenzia per il patrimonio Culturale Euromediterraneo," is not a public institution, but an institution of a private nature, which through the pursuit of its institutional goals, contributes to the achievement of public interest. As part of its activities, the association can sometimes receive, as a result of projects approved, public funding (regional, national or European) for which it is required by the funding agencies, the adoption of measures guaranteeing the principles of transparency and publicity.
