Ahead of the public meeting “European Union Enlargement – Opportunities and Benefits for Citizens, Businesses and Local Communities”, scheduled for Friday 18 September at 7.00 pm at the former Convent of the Theatines in Lecce, citizens can already take part in the survey on the European Union’s enlargement policy, with particular reference to the integration process of the Western Balkans.
Through a short online questionnaire, citizens can express their views and help identify perceptions, expectations, priorities and opinions on the issues that will be at the heart of the discussion on 18 September.
Simply scan the QR code with your smartphone to access the questionnaire directly.

The contributions collected will be processed and presented during the event, providing speakers with an overview of the views expressed by the public and creating a direct connection between citizens and the panel.
The tool has been developed and implemented by COMMED I A Digital Transformation, technical partner of the initiative and of the Municipality of Lecce for digital services.
The aim is to make the 18 September event not only an opportunity for information and in-depth discussion, but also a genuine forum for listening, participation and dialogue with citizens.
Take part: your views can contribute to the debate on Europe’s future.
The initiative is organised and promoted by the European Commission Representation in Italy, the Municipality of Lecce and the Agency for Euro-Mediterranean Cultural Heritage, with the support of the Europe Direct centres in Lecce, Taranto and BAT. Confirmed participants include Raffaele Fitto, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission.
