The Euro-Mediterranean Cultural Heritage Agency, since its constitution, has always considered the quality of initiatives as one of the essential strategic goals; professionalism and competence of the team as a fundamental basis of projects and initiatives; assessment of results as an essential tool for improving performance and the full achievements of goals. This is a ways often difficult and laborious, but tenaciously pursued, which has seen the realization of many high-profile cultural activities and projects aiming at in enhancing and supporting knowledge and awareness on the importance and value of our cultural heritage value, as means of the common and collective memory of peoples and civilization".
Since 2003, only to mention the most significant projects and achievements, the Euro-Mediterranean Cultural Heritage Agency, has managed 19 Community (Programmes: INTERREG CADSES, Culture 2000, LIFELONG LEARNING), national and regional (POR ) programmes and initiatives, in support of the cultural heritage of Italian and Mediterranean basin,
The Agency is, therefore, today, a landmark in operations and support of activities focused on enhancement, promotion, conservation, protection, restoration, of the Euro-Mediterranean cultural heritage. So, the Agency can be considered as a trait d’union between the needs of promotion and enhancement of territories, at a local level, and the directives of the policies of nations and international bodies, with the aim of implementing a policy of integration between the different areas of the European Union and the Mediterranean.
